Notes on checking the Genuineness of Product Reviews
We have taken some measures to ensure that published reviews only come from customers who have actually purchased the products. These reviews are marked as "verified purchase".
Registered users have the opportunity within their customer account to rate the products of past orders. In addition, products can be rated via review links in emails sent by us or affiliated service providers. It is technically ensured that only the actual purchased products can be rated.
In addition, there is the option to leave product reviews on the product detail page. Technically it is checked whether the item has been purchased by the user. If a verification cannot be carried out automatically, reviews are manually checked and only classified as verified if an actual purchase has taken place.
Should it not be possible to confirm that the product was actually purchased, the review will not be marked as a "verified purchase".
We also use TrustedShops as an independent service provider for obtaining reviews. TrustedShops takes measures to ensure that the reviews are genuine.
Some of our affiliated companies collect reviews via the independent service provider WebwinkelKeur. WebwinkelKeur asks for reviews by e-mail of products that have been transmitted by our systems with the customer's order. This ensures that only products that have actually been purchased are rated.
